I started this podcast a couple of years ago simply because I was disgusted with corporate radion. Every band on th edial sounded the same. They played the same bands over and over. I wanted to share a passion of mine--finding new unheard of metal bands that aren't getting played by corporate radio. What started out as a fun little project quickly became a top 10 iTunes podcast in the Heavy Metal category. I stopped podcasting last summer and had no intention of ever coming back to it until a couple weeks ago in January 2009 decided to see if anyone was still downloading this crazy little podcast. over 1000 people a month were still downloading the old episodes. That gave me a push to bring 15 Minutes of Metal back to life on a new and improved site. Once again, determined to be the best non-corporate Heavy Metal podcast.
